What's the deposit, and how do I pay the rest?

For bookings of up to 3 hours there is no deposit, you pay the full amount when you arrive. For shoots of 4 hours or more, you pay a 30% deposit online when you book, and that secures the slot. The rest is paid in cash on the day of the shoot or by proforma invoice, and if you prefer, you can pay the full amount upfront, by proforma invoice or by card online.

What counts as a half day, and what as a full day?

Accepted Answer

A half day is any booking from 4 to 6 hours, billed at 45 € per hour (10% off the standard hourly rate). A full day is a booking of 7 to 12 hours, billed at 40 € per hour (20% off). The studio is open from 8 AM to 8 PM, so plan your start and end inside that window. Slots outside these hours are available on request.

Can I reschedule if plans change?

Yes. If you let us know more than 48 hours before your booking, you can change the time or cancel and we'll send your deposit back. If it's less than 48 hours away, the slot stays yours and the deposit isn't returned.

Question 4

What if I run over my booked time?

Accepted Answer

If the studio is free after your slot, we'd rather you finish the shot than rush it. Extra time is billed at the same hourly rate as your booking. If another client is booked right after you, we'll need the room cleared on time.

Question 5

Is the on-set assistant required?

Accepted Answer

The assistant isn't required. The studio is set up so you can walk in and shoot on your own. Add an on-set assistant when you want help with the light setup, or when your crew is small and you'd rather not lose time on rigging. The assistant is billed on top of the hourly rate.
